Moto Iron Front Brake Master Cylinder for 1996-2017 Harley-Davidson
Moto Iron Front Brake Master Cylinder for 1996-2017 Harley-Davidson
- Choice of 9/16" or 11/16" bore
- Single-disc forks usually use master cylinders with a 9/16" bore and dual-disc forks use master cylinders with a 5/8" bore—but not always
- Please verify your bore size before ordering
- Includes lever and clamp
- 7/16"-24 banjo bolt and crush washers included on 9/16" bore master cylinders
- 3/8"-24 banjo bolt and crush washers included on 11/16" bore master cylinders
- Compatible with DOT 4 or 5 brake fluid—this is a safety-critical consideration many other master cylinders may not support
- Compatible with most 1" diameter handlebars
- Allows reuse of your OE brake switch (one is not included)
This master cylinder comes with a lever, but it accepts OEM levers as well. It's notched to work with 1996-2017 Harley-Davidson switch housings and is a great way to convert bore sizes, replace a master cylinder that's too far gone to rebuild, or just spiff up a bike that lived outside that might have ratty-looking controls.
