This clutch kit must be used in conjunction with an OEM spring plate (or equivalent). Another common solution is removal of the spring plate and replacing them with a sufficient amount of alternating friction plates and steels to bring the clutch stack height to factory specifications; note this may require purchasing two sets of plates and steels.
